Kiara's Room.

Hi! My name is Kiara. I am six years old, and live in Australia. I live with my mum, my dad (who is helping me with this page), my younger sister, Briar, our dog, a Tenterfield Terrier, named Bronte.

Here are some pictures of my family.

I enjoy playing with my dolls (Barbies and Cabbage Patches), playing with my dress-ups (which my Grandma makes for me), inline skating and dancing.

I learn classical,jazz ballet and tap dancing. At the end of each year we have a concert for the whole dance school. last year my dad had a dancing and acting part in the show, which was quite funny, as he was dressed as a fairy. We also had a part in the second half of the show where my dad and I did a dance to "Butterfly Kisses"

Books

My Favourite books are:

The Gumnut Classics by May Gibbs.

(Which I have had read several times-mum)

Snugglepot and Cuddlepie (the two babies sitting on the gum leaf) are gumnut babies. They have many adventures with their friends, Ragged Blossom, Mr. Lizard and other bushland creatures. They are always in danger from Mrs. Snake and the wicked Banksia Men. My favourite character is Ragged Blossom.

Charlotte's Web by E.B. White.

Wilbur is a runt of a pig, who is saved from being killed by Fern. She looks after him until he has to go to her Uncle's farm. While he is there he meets a spider named Charlotte, who saves his life by weaving special messages in her web.

Mr. Men and Little Miss Books by Roger Hargreaves.

These are the fun stories about some very odd characters. The ones here are Mr. Happy, Mr. Sneeze and Mr. Strong.

Music

When we are travelling in the car I love to listen to my tapes (over and over again-dad). My favourite singers/ groups are:
